Welcome to the AB40k Maintainers Site. We create and maintain the Warhammer 40000 datafiles for Army Builder 3.x. Warhammer 40000 is a product of Games Workshop and Army Builder is a product of Lone Wolf Development - we are affiliated with neither, we are just a group of fans who do this to enhance your gaming experience. This site is dedicated to helping to provide the most accurate files possible, so if you have a bug to report please register and use the project tracker below. Major Releases and patches as well as some user add-ons can be found in the Downloads Area, while in the FAQs are the answers to many questions relating to the files and their operation.
Important Information
Site Rules. The site policy is available to read here.
5th Edition Files. The 5th Edition files are now out. We will not be supporting the 4th Edition now. Maintainers may release a patch to catch any last bugs but that is down to the individual.
General and Bug Reporting. Please note that we only support AB3.x and not AB2.x When reporting bugs or requesting changes or updates please provide as much detail as possible, i.e. the file version, any patches installed, what rules were selected and steps taken to reproduce the bug - this makes it a lot easier for the maintainers to fix problems.
New Files. As mentioned in the FAQs in AB, on this site and in the relevant forums there is a minimum one month embargo on the latest release date on files when a new codex is released. Do not ask for it early!

| General Release 1.02a now available... |
Version 1.02a: 9 June 09: In this release, the 5E Imperial Guard, many bugfixes and correction to issues noted in the bug tracker, and new Apocalypse formations from WD magazine and the GW website.

| AB40K 5th edition version 1.01b available! |

In this release. Fixes for the new SM file and added in SM AP units. Please ensure you read the FAQ for info on a new addition for the next reelase to enable user modifications ...

| Next Release |
Just a quick heads up to everyone. The next release for the 5th edition files is due out soon. This will be a bugfix release for the Space Marines and hopefully, cross fingers, include the SM AP units back in as well.
What won't be included in this release will be the Deathwatch - it is for reasons of timescales and a few other issues too - be patient though as they will be back!! We know they won't be in there so please don't post endless bugreports telling us about it.
After this release is out then we are looking to put some of the fancy things into the 5th edition files as well as gettin the Imperial Armour stuff up to date too.

| 5th Edition Update |
A quick update about the 5th Edition data file. We are now in the testing and tweaking stage for the SM and 5th Edition changes. To save time and to get a release out we have made the decision that the 'bells and whistles' we had planned can go in at a later date - we are focussing upon making sure the files are 5E compliant so you can get using them sooner rather than later. Due to this the latest IA stuff and other bits won't be included but will follow on very shortly. Not long now, promise!

| AB40k v1.32 is now out |
In this release: Various bug fixes. This is the final release of the 4th Edition files. They will now be unsupported. 5th Edition files to follow shortly
Please note the above. No bugs will be fixed for the 4th edition files unless the maintainer has some spare time. And yes, the 5th edition files are due out very soon.
