Welcome to the AB40k Maintainers Site

Welcome to the AB40k Maintainers Site. We create and maintain the Warhammer 40000 datafiles for Army Builder 3.x. Warhammer 40000 is a product of Games Workshop and Army Builder is a product of Lone Wolf Development - we are affiliated with neither, we are just a group of fans who do this to enhance your gaming experience. This site is dedicated to helping to provide the most accurate files possible, so if you have a bug to report please register and use the project tracker below.

Major Releases and patches as well as some user add-ons can be found in the Downloads Area, while in the FAQs are the answers to many questions relating to the files and their operation.

Important Information

General and Bug Reporting. Please note that we only support AB3.x and not AB2.x When reporting bugs or requesting changes or updates please provide as much detail as possible, i.e. the file version, any patches installed, what rules were selected and steps taken to reproduce the bug - this makes it a lot easier for the maintainers to fix problems.

Got a Question? If you have any questions on the files or how they operate then post into the relevant forums

New Files. As mentioned in the FAQs in AB, on this site and in the relevant forums there is a minimum one month embargo on the latest release date on files when a new codex is released. Do not ask for it early!

At last, the wait is over ... the delay was my fault so don't moan at any one else. In this release: Chaos Daemons, Ork FAQ and various bug fixes

AB40k v1.30a is now available

News about the 40k Data Files for AB.

v1.30a is now available to download from this site. Go to the downloads section and then current releases. This relase contains various bug fixes and preparation for the Daemons codex (note: It does NOT include the Daemon codex)

Forthcoming releases

News about the 40k Data Files for AB.

v1.30 will be released shortly - this will be a 'bug fix' release only. The Daemon codex is being written and tested at the moment. The file will NOT be available before 10 June at the very earliest. As usual when a file is ready it will be made available on the site for one week first to allow final tweaks and then go into the AB release mechanism.

AB40k Site Rules

News about the AB40k site.

We have now published a set of rules for the site. Unfortunately this has been due to a number of people thinking that the anonymity of the internet gave them the right to be insulting, abusive and step way over the acceptable line of discussion.

This is not a step we have taken lightly but due to a number of occurences of this type of behaviour it is one we have had to make,

AB40k v1.29b is now available

News about the 40k Data Files for AB.

v1.29b is now available for download from this site or through AB. In this release: Orks!!! IA AP!!! More AP formations!!! Renegades and lots more additions and fixes.
