Trying to update Codex Orks.

Have a question about how to do something in the datafiles? Ask it here, we'll help if we can. NOTE: We cannot teach you how to use ABCREATE or how our files work, we don't have the time.

Trying to update Codex Orks.

#1  Postby deano » Fri Aug 15, 2014 2:31 am

Hi guys. I am messing with the Orks list. I cant get the points on Grots to come up right because I think the first Runtherd is 5 points but the 2nd and 3rd need to be 10 points.
Do I need to make a different Runtherd for a starter or is there a modifer somewhere?

I've got a few things in the list working right but I am just feeling my way around your coding and learning by doing. Actually quite pleased that I am pulling most of this off by modifying what you guys already have.

Edit.. AB v3.4(not sure of the last bit) and Version 1.46 of the datafiles.

Not sure I have played with that. Two suggestions are
1) Look at the @blah's defined for postlinks scripts or
2) Add a dummy link with cost -5 and single behavior. With a model cost of 10, the first will appear to be 5 and 2+ will be 10 each.

BTW: did I miss a Codex:Orks update?

I will try that dummy fix... If nobody is working on Orks I'll send mine in when I get it to where its passable. (I've not got the Ghazkull supplement yet...)
You've apparently missed Orks and Space Wolves and GK are next week.

The 7th Ed Ork Codex is well under way.  They files are in beta right now, and will be part of the overall 7th Ed release in the coming couple of weeks.
