Try deleting/renaming the ab40k dir under the (its named something similar to this) c:/armybuilder/datafiles/ab40k

and reload it from the sites download or though AB.

I've been getting back into 40k and haven't used Army Builder since the last update '05?

Basicly when I download the file (saving it into documents and then importing to Army builder) I get "Selected file is not a valid Army Builder file?"

Do I need to download the first file AB40k '06 then download the rest?

humm.. make sure you got the latest Army builder updates installed (3.1.c) via the updates function or by downloading it from http://www.wolflair.com/rightframe.php?context=army_builder&page=downloads
if you download it from the lonewolf site. you might want to uninstall it first and clean up any directory's. Then install and register it again using your code or email address. there is information on this located on the lone wolfs forums. (i would give you a link but their forums are blocked by my works firewall.) Then use the Updates function in AB to get it all updated.

The lasted AB40k file is listed int he downloads section under current releases. (40kv1p30a.ab as of june 2nd 2008)
http://www.ab40k.org/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1

Good luck. :)

Few quick questions.

If you haven't used AB since 2005 have you got AB3.1 or AB2.2? Have you got AB3.0 or AB3.1+ (the system changed quite considerably at that point)

I do have Ab2.2. Alright I deleted my old 40k file. I did try to download the 3.1c on Lone Wolf but it wouldn't work to well.

I was wrong I did try to download the Lone 3.1c when it first came out had the same problem of not allowing me to finish the download?

Is their one here that I can download?

AB3 is an entirely new product. You don't get it for free just because you have AB2. If you want AB3 you'll have to purchase it. Read http://www.wolflair.com/rightframe.php?context=army_builder&page=v3_answers for more details.
