#1   by Homer_S » Sun Jul 27, 2014 12:49 pm Hello! The community can help us a lot. What are the 7th edition changes needed in the 40K files? Be gentle with quoting rules. Example, state "Warlords no longer have to be ICs, see page 154." Please don't list the whole rule. I appreciate you starting the list! Remember, a workaround for this is to just choose "Apocalypse" since it already removes most restrictions based on FOC. homerThe only "hobby" GW is interested in is lining their pockets with your money.

#4   by Tdub415 » Sun Aug 03, 2014 2:51 pm An option to display certain tables (warlord traits, vehicle damage table, mysterious objective table, etc...) might be nice, if easily implemented. The people I play with (myself included) are constantly forgetting books, so it would speed up games. Definitely not a make or break feature, but one that could be handy if it's not too much work

#5   by Spack » Sun Aug 03, 2014 5:15 pm I can say with certainly that copying reference tables will not be part of the ab40k files. They are not intended to be used without the rules and codexes.

#6   by Homer_S » Mon Aug 04, 2014 1:59 am What we can do is put the rolling table there, you will still have to look up the rules for whatever the result is. That is how Warlord Traits and Psychic Powers work now.

#7   by MFive » Mon Aug 04, 2014 8:33 am some things that came to mind
 Lords of War (p.g 119)
the "Other" slot (also p.g 119)
the modified allies chart (p.g 126)
the new Warlord table, Tactical Traits (p.g 124)

EDIT: perhaps a page number to the warlord trait page for easier reference?

Aye, I know what you are saying but it still leaves me having to manually count my units if you get my drift? As Apocalypse unfortunately doesn't show types of unit it just totally removes all restrictions except warlord. Whereas taking away the points restriction on multiple detachments and being able to add as many detachments as you like of different types would keep track of the legalities of those detachments.

#14   by deano » Thu Aug 14, 2014 1:30 pm So has Lord Of War had a category made for it yet? I am playing with the Ork ruleset and I can move Badrukk out of a flash git unit but there is no Lord of War for me to assign to Ghaz... or the Stompa.

#15   by Akaiyou » Mon Aug 25, 2014 6:12 am Nicee nicee been wondering if you guys had quit on 7th good to see it's well under way.
Here is my suggestion: FACTIONS! Make the 7th ed update be able to keep track of factions in your army, factions are very important now.

Also remember there's models like Daemon Prince that can potentially belong to 1 of 2 factions and need to be listed properly so a switch faction mechanism should be in place to declare which faction he's a part of.
